PACKAGING DESIGN
I am interested in and like kids graphics and illustrations. So I wanted to re-design a food product about that.
I think that some food for children should be liked parents and children both. It is also right target marketing. Therefore I tried to make a packaging design for both parents and children who are consumers.
Firstly, I want to make a design that can easy to shows what product is in there.
Secondly, I want to make an interesting and fun design for children.
Thirdly, I want to make a design that can recycled or kept continuously.
I think this is one of the best example for my packaging design.
This package design show the characteristics of the chewing gum well.
RESEARCH
Before started idea sketching, I researched about kid's snacks and food packaging design. Through research, I can see the snacks package designs are mostly colorful and illustrious.
In addition, targets for this package design are parents and children. Therefore i tried to research the package design that would satisfy them.
I found something interesting in common in organic package design through research.
Organic food packaging is practical, transportable, and transparent in its material usage with consumers (http://thepackaginginsider.com/faqs-organic-food-packaging/)
The reason why I found organic product package design interesting is because the following are the cases.
Firstly, I want to make a design that can easy to shows what product is in there.
Secondly, I want to make an interesting and fun design for children.
Thirdly, I want to make a design that can recycled or kept continuously.
You have some research here, but this needs to discuss the work more in-depth. You also need to add more commentary on your initial ideas. What is the Unique Selling Point of your product, and how will it stand out from the other products? Below is a link to a study titled 'creating a better product experience in organic cereal packaging design.' This includes interesting findings on packaging design principles and criteria which might be interesting to draw on for your own project.

You need to respond to the feedback given on your blog post and really start to develop these. The research on your blog is poor and does not discuss the work in-depth with commentary on how this informs your work. You have not included any technical process with screenshots from the software. What tools and techniques have you used? You also need to include Harvard Referencing as discussed in class last week. Please make sure you really start to work on this.
